Alive, not dead.

Husband was promoted to SPC in November. Up for SGT in March.

Expecting a litter of GSD puppies any day now.

Going to college for Graphic Design.

Bored out of my mind.

That's all.

Yes, I'm still alive.

My husband and I are still living in beautiful, wonderful Kansas! /sarcasm.

Rob is up for promotion to Specialist (E-4) in November, and possibly Sergeant sometime in February or March.

I celebrated my 21st birthday on August 9th. That was fun! A couple of free drinks, and then home I went! Rob bought me a beautiful 3 stone white gold bracelet for my birthday, and my mom got me the usual "mom" stuff. T-shirts, my favorite snacks, that sort of thing.

Fall is already here in Kansas. It's so weird having actual seasons instead of going from sickeningly hot to freezing cold like in Florida. I still miss Florida terribly, but I'll miss it even worse when Rob and I go to Germany next spring. He's re-enlisting.

As far as baby news goes, there isn't any. We haven't even thought about trying for little Finnicks yet, but we did adopt another German shepherd puppy back in February. Her registered name is Dutchess Anastasia vom Dominus, but we call her Annie. She's our little princess, even when she's chewing our shoes and shitting on the floor. >:(

Not much else to report, really. Got lots of house cleaning to get done and so little time to do it. I'll try to keep you all a little more updated.

I LIVE!

Yeah, you can't get rid of me so easily, I know.

Anyway.

It's been 6 months since Rob and I moved to Kansas... we finally got all our things unpacked and put away. We have discovered that we aren't fond of the Army. Rob is being worked like a dog, and not getting paid nearly enough. We'd be rich if he was paid by the hour. Heh.

No babies for us yet. A lot of people have been curious, but there aren't any. We aren't planning on it any time soon, either.

I got a job at the post gym working 40 hours a week as a recreational assistant. I don't have time for much else. And with Rob working the opposite shift I'm working, it sucks.

All in all, we're doing good otherwise. I got a new car in October (2002 Mercury Cougar) that I love. We're only 4 days away from our one year wedding anniversary, and I'm excited about that. :)

Anyway, yeah. That's about it. :P

Well, it's been a while, huh?

So... first off...

My husband graduated from OSUT on June 29th. We moved from Jacksonville, Florida to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, where we'll be stationed for the next 3 years.

Our wedding was on July 8th, and all went well... the weather was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better day to be married on. :)

Now that we're in Ft. Leavenworth, I have a lot more free time on my hands. Although boxes aren't unpacked, I have managed to re-herniate the disc in my lower back, and pretty much can't do shit until I see a doctor. Rob works 12 hour shifts at the USDB, so it's the perfect time for me to try and get back into my vector art groove. :)

Other than that, nothing's really going on. I shall try to come up with more artworks as they become available. Later!

Another update...

Hey, guys!
Yes, I'm still alive. :)
I had my surgery on April 25th, and it was a success. Turns out the lump in my throat was not a cyst, but actual thyroid tissue! My body tried to grow another thyroid! Weird, huh? Anyway, it came out just fine. Hopefully, I won't have any more problems with this. :)
I can't believe my husband comes home next month! I'm so excited! He's doing so well, he scored Best of the Best! I'm so proud of him! :)
Wedding planning has now hit chaotic mode, as we only have a month and a half until the ceremony. There are still things I need to buy, things I haven't paid off yet. It's getting crazy up in here! *sigh*
Anyway, that's about it. I'm doing great, and hopefully soon my finished Mariah Carey vector will be up. Later!
